Patriot Productions, LLC was found by co-managing partners, Jerry Goehring and Mike Mitri in 2009 to develop new theatrical projects for the Broadway stage and national first-class market. From obtaining and protecting the integrity of underlying rights through creative team engagement and production management, Patriot has a mission of creating and supporting new theatrical works.

Patriot's first project was "A Christmas Story, the Musical" from inception to Broadway.

First produced in partnership with Kansas City Repertory Theatre as an enhancement production in 2009 and then a second enhancement partnership with the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, WA in 2010. The show was produced on a tour with stops in Hershey, PA, Detroit, MI, Raleigh, NC and Tampa, FL and then a sitdown at The Chicago Theatre in 2011.

"A Christmas Story, the Musical" premiered on Broadway in 2012 and broke existing box office records at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. “A Christmas Story” also received Tony Award nominations for Best Musical, Best Score and Best Book. The musical was named one of the Top 10 Shows of 2012 by Time Magazine, achieved recognition as the #1 Musical of 2012 in USA Today and received Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for Outstanding New Broadway Musical.

During the 2013 holiday season Patriot produced the show at The Wang Theatre in Boston and at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden, New York City.

"A Christmas Story, the Musical" has since been lincensed to stock, amateur and professional theatres across the county. Including an annual non-Equity tour based on the Broadway show produced by Big League Theatricals. "A Christmas Story, the Musical" will continue to return investment followed by net profits to investors for years to come through multiple avenues of subsidiary income.

Since that initial success, Patriot continues to work closely with underlying rights owners, authors, creative teams and non-profit partners to bring new musicals and plays to the Broadway stage.
